PTSA Pumpkin Fair 2015

This year’s Dobbs Ferry PTSA Pumpkin Fair was a blast. The Pumpkin Fair is an annual fundraiser for the community sponsored by the Dobbs Ferry PTSA.

It took place at Springhurst Elementary School this past October. Amongst the activities were face painting, pumpkin picking, carnival games such as ring toss and mini-bowling, a hayride, obstacle course, a jumping castle, and more. The face panting was awesome. When a little girl walked in she came back out as a beautiful bird with wings on her face. The hayride was unforgettable, with the driver taking you around the loop in the front of the building.

Also, for the hungry fair goers, there was a chili competition and assorted baked goods to sample. The chili was the most delicious thing we’ve ever had! The baked goods were awesome, too! Dobbs Ferry Middle School sixth grader Hannah Kovach summed up the overall mood of the event when she said, “I loved the sweet treats and fun activities.”
