Eighth grader Gabriella Maggi will periodically be sharing movie reviews with our readers. Her first review is for the movie Gone which is rated PG-13.
Recently, I have watched the amazing new movie, Gone. In Heitor Dhalia’s Gone, Amanda Seyfried plays a young woman named Jill, a jittery waitress convinced that the man who abducted her a few years earlier is going to return for the one girl who got away. When her sister goes missing, Jill has no doubts as to who’s responsible. She sets out on an adventure to find her sister before it is too late.
Fellow eighth grader Madison Cambeiro also saw the movie. She had this too say, “This had to be one of my favorite movies I have seen! I loved the way they put together the movie. It had many conflicts, funny moments, suspenseful parts, and it even made me cry! I rate the movie 9.5 out of 10! I don’t give it a complete 10 because of the ending. They left you thinking about what is going to happen next, and never gave you a straight answer. The worst part is about this movie is that I can’t look forward to a sequel because there isn’t one! All I can say is you should most definitely see this movie!”
I enjoyed every minute of Gone. I laughed, cheered, screamed, and nearly died in suspense. This is a movie I highly recommend to you. This movie was not scary, just very suspenseful, and I recommend this movie to older middle schoolers and above. I rate this movie 10 out of 10 stars!
As you can see, there were many positive comments about this movie, and I suggest that you go out and find out for yourself if this is a movie for you!
